ABOUT US

The hosts of PitchMAS are Jessa Russo and Tamara Mataya.

We're two amazingly awesome (if we do say so ourselves), often snarky (yep, guilty), and almost always inappropriate (well, one of us anyway) writers of books that run the genre gamut but always include romance.

We're romantics at heart--what can we say?

But enough rambling! If you want to know more about us, check out the links below!

XO,
Jessa & Tam

Jessa Russo

Jessa Russo believes in fairytales, ghosts, and Jake Ryan—she’s pretty sure her heart has never fully belonged to anyone else (apologies, Mr. Russo).  When not writing, she can be found watching far too much Netflix, drinking craft beer with her friends, or enjoying a nice Sunday brunch (even if it’s not Sunday). Her stories span the genre field but will always—always—include romance; the steamier, the better.

You can find Jessa on most social platforms as @JessaRusso or writing as Jessalyn Jameson (@JessalynJameson). Please stay tuned for Jessa's upcoming new adult dystopian ARK OF DREAMS, set for a 2017 release from REUTS Publications! As Jessalyn Jameson, her next erotic romance, WHISKEY BURNED, will be released in 2017 as well.

Tamara Mataya
NYT/USA Today Bestselling Author Tamara Mataya is currently a librarian. She lurked there for so long recommending books to patrons and shushing people that she suspects they only hired her so it would be less creepy. Now she’s armed with a name tag and a thin veneer of credibility. She’s also a musician with synaesthesia—which isn't an issue until someone plays a wrong note, which makes her want to squirm inside out. It makes for a good live show. As a freelance editor, has worked with NYT Bestselling authors.

Tamara can be found on Twitter: @FeakySnucker
and blogging at: feakysnucker.blogspot.ca

Keep an eye out for her romantic comedy, MISSED CONNECTIONS, and the follow up, SUMMER INDISCRETIONS, the first coming out in June 2016 with Sourcebooks.
